The had the truck I was coming to look at washed and out front waiting on me. That wasnāt the truck I ended up buying but the truck I did buy they washed and put the floor mats in for me and topped off the fuel before I left

My experience with Rod Baker Ford was almost bi-polar. My salesperson Kaitlyn, and the other people I spoke with were friendly and helpful. However, as a long-distance buyer it almost seemed like they went out of their way to make the process frustrating. I almost had to call off the deal when they added ridiculous dealer-installed junk to my used truck purchase AFTER the price was negotiated. Silly junk like āSpare tire lockā and āPulse brake lightā for hundreds and hundreds of dollars. That shenanigan makes the whole process feel slimy even though the people themselves seemed genuinely pleasant to deal with. Additionally, as someone who has purchased many vehicles over the internet, This process was one of the most difficult and illogical. If I hadnāt really wanted this particular truck, I certainly would have called off the deal because of their onerous procedures and the fact that they wouldnāt hold a vehicle even with a deposit while I was jumping through to very hoops they placed in front of a simple transaction. 3 stars about sums it up for me.

Had an amazing experience buying my 2016 fusion from their over a year ago and have loved it ever since best car I have owned and with low miles I purchased the extended warranty knowing that there might some issues down the road and I rather not work on cars anymore with my bad knees and back. A few days before the 4th of July I had brought my car there for a concern. It had been billowing smoke from the exhaust on initial start up that last 6-8 seconds for the last few days, the car has never smoked or had any issues prior and has been maintained very well. I took it in and the service staff was amazing checked me in and gave a loaner car till they were able to look at the car. Two days later they had completed thier inspection and according to thier trained technician the smoke billowing from my car was normal and was supposed to be that way. I have been around cars all my life and worked on cars for years and currently work at another dealership, so I know a thing or two about how cars should operate. I had them keep the car for another day and they came back with the same answer. So out of frustration I took my car back,now with a scratch on the passenger rear door for some reason, and left before my frustration got the best of me. Few days later I made an appointment at the other ford dealership in the area and within the day they were able to determine that I needed a new short block cause coolant was seeping in cause my spark plugs to be coated in coolant and consuming my coolant from my tank without leaving and leaks on the ground. Im just surprised that the dealership I bought my car from couldn't find the issue and just dismissed it as being normal when at the end it wasn't normal and could have lead to bigger issue if I had let go for a longer time. My extended warranty has covered the work for a new short block and will be done in a few days. Again im just so disappointed that i had to go to another dealership to get it checked right, just makes me wonder how many other people they have dissmissed series issues to being something normal the car should do.
